‘Paradise Club Mykonos’ unveils a mind-blowing DJ line-up for the summer of 2011, with some stratospheric names lined up at the Greek super club.
After what was described as their best season ever last year, the Mykonos club will be bringing in the biggest names in house music alongside the superstars of the future for 2011. This exciting blend of up-and-coming names alongside established giants of the scene is sure to make ‘Paradise Club Mykonos’ one of
the hottest clubs in Europe to visit this summer.
Only the world’s ‘Cream of the Crop’ DJs step up to the decks at Paradise Club. From the superstar DJs and producers at the top of their game like: Armin van Buuren (DJ Mags’ #1 DJ for a record four years running) and 2010/11 Grammy award winner David Guetta to legendary iconic artists such as Bob Sinclar and
Dimitri From Paris. In 2010 Sinclars amazing summer DJ calendar took him across 37 gigs in 43 days, and he told ‘DJ Mag’ that his best gig of 2010 was at ‘Paradise Club Mykonos!’
Club owners Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel are fixated on moving forward with artists that are making waves in dance music. In 2011 they are bringing in some of the hottest young DJ names, including: Laidback Luke who killed it in Ibiza in 2010, 2011 Grammy award winner Afrojack, fast rising Italian DJ Cristian Marchi,
Dutch-house purveyor DJ Chuckie and Avicii - touted as one of the hottest upand-comers. These fast-rising stars will play alongside annual visitors to Paradise Club Mykonos such the awesome: Fedde Le Grand and Martin Solveig, creator of the hit Hello, who is also bringing his ‘SMASH’ - tennis themed parties to Paradise Club’ along with French house legend DJ Gregory.
Arguably some of the craziest nights on the island will be when the Swedes fly into Mykonos. Fans of the meteorically rising ‘Swedish House Mafia’ will see the three DJs that were responsible for what was the biggest tune of 2010 (‘One’). Beatports ‘track of the year’ was their song, which simultaneously enjoyed
mainstream success as well as being loved by discerning clubbers. ‘One’ by ‘Swedish House Mafia’ propelled Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso into the big time as a collective. Individually, fans can see DJ Mags’ #10 in the world Axwell, Angello (#14) and Ingrosso (#16) all at Paradise Club in July and August.
As usual, the ever-popular Australian contingent will be well represented, including festival-headlining dance group: Sneaky Sound System, chart-toppers TV Rock (Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough), John Course (whose Ministry Of Sound compilations have sold over one million copies in Australia), Dirty South, the Stafford Brothers & Kaz James. Presenting nights this year include: Stereosonic - the fastest growing dance festival in Australia and one of the major festivals on the scene, having hosted the biggest DJ names in the world, many of whom play at Paradise Club each year. Alumbra - one of the best clubs in Australia, hosting Paradise Club Full Moon parties down under and whose residents James Belias, Steve Bleas and Simon Digby will also play in Mykonos in 2011.
Along side these artists and more will be residents DJ Soheil, Agent Greg, Chris Montana.
