Summadayze lived up to its name this New Years Eve in Adelaide with a scorcher of a day.

It wasn't just the 38 degree day that heated things up, eye candy was at max with guys and girls wearing next to nothing to keep cool in the heat-wave. On top of that the stellar line up line-up made it impossible not to dance it up under the Adelaide sun, with Snoop Dogg a favorite, dropping it like it's HAWT.

As expected, internationally renowned hip hop heavyweight Snoop Dogg was the highlight of the day for many. He put on a solid set which was almost drowned out by his screaming fans.

Drum and Bass superstars Pendulum kept the crowd dancing with their thick and heavy beats. Frontman and MC Ben Mount, put  on and incredibly energetic performance keeping true to his style donning jeans and a beanie, jumping around the stage as the temperature soared.

In between major sets the hoards made the most of the shade from the giant trees that dotted Adelaide's Rymil Park, and ran between water sprinklers set up by the festival.

Dj superstar veterans Moby and the great Grandmaster Flash lead the festival into the evening. Moby played a classic set sporting his cheeky trademark smile. While Grandmaster flash didn't play one of his more traditional sets, he did managed to keep the crowd pumped with his husky voice, jumping up on to speakers, playing a mix of modern commercial top 40 tracks, combined with a few classic hip hop faves.

Even though the sun had gone down, Grandmaster Flash kept the crowd warmed up for the arrival of Australian hip hop duo Bliss n Eso. As usual they put on an awesomely energetic live show. Brining in the New Year with the Bliss, Izm and the crowd singing 'Happy Birthday' to MC Eso.

Meanwhile at the Majenta Main Stage, Justice fans were treated to an epic live show.  Australian fans were the very first to see Justice perform tracks from their new 'Audio, Video, Disco' album. On top of that they counted down New Years to a firework spectacular.

Adelaide Summadayze was definitely one to remember and bought in a New years day which topped gauges at 41 degrees, the hottest New Years Day in Adelaide in 112 years.
