Signing a multi album deal with Global music force Sony BMG for 2005 has been the icing on the cake for what was an enormous 2004 for Grant; who is currently one of the most in demand DJ/Producers in the country. Grant’s first release with Sony is the title Onelove Vol 2 which he is mixing with NYC superstar Carl Kennedy following on from his highly successful House Sessions release with Ministry of Sound.

Despite a hectic travel schedule, Grant manages to hit the studios, where he currently programs Nova’s fusion with John Course each week. Fusion plays in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane to an audience in the hundreds of thousands every weekend.

Working with studio partner Ivan Gough, the duo are currently remixing the Bodyrockers ‘I like the way you’ and Sander Kleinenberg’s ‘The Fruit’ after successfully reworking the electro hit ‘Rippin Kitten’ by Golden Boy and Miss Kitten. In 2004, the duo also remixed Vandalism’s ‘Girls and Boys’ and Deep Face’s ‘Been good’ both resulting in top 10 ARIA Dance chart positions. Their cut up of Song 2 which they collaborated with Moguai on has been played by everybody from Armand Van Helden and James Zabiela to Pete Tong, rocking countries around the world. They have a number of forthcoming singles being released early 2005 including a re-work of ‘Love an Adventure’ made famous by Australian supergroup Psuedo Echo and also ‘Flaunt it’- an electro funk rocker expected to destroy floors from March.

Grant is also working with mrTimothy and the duo’s first release ‘Electro Freak’ under the cheeky moniker of money$HOT was signed to hugely successful electro label Ocean Trax and will be released locally in March. The track will feature on the Onelove Volume 2 CD. Tim and Grant are working on a series of new tracks with Katie Underwood and have big plans for 2005.

Other highlights for this in demand jock include: Versace Launches, DJ of choice for KISS and the artist formerly known as Prince… invite only soirees with Frankie Knuckles, Ferrari’s & Tag Heuer’s music director for the Melbourne Grand Prix, catwalk music programmer for Mercedes Fashion Week,

Grant was selected as Australia’s representative to play at the Zouk Out Festival in Singapore in July 2003 where he graced the decks amongst such esteemed company as Sasha, Masters at Work, James Lavelle and Blaze where over 13,000 Singaporeans attended! Other DJ’s Grant worked with this year alone include DJ Falcon, Bob Sinclar, Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, Wally Lopez, David Guetta, Xpress 2, DJ Sneak, Planet Funk, Junior Jack and Kid Crème to name but a few..

In Melbourne, he holds residencies at One Love- (voted best Club Night at the DMA’s in 2002), Mischief, Better Days & 161. Interstate commitments are often hectic with regular trips to most states in the country.
