In a scene of ever-changing trends and phases, House music has reclaimed its rightful front seat position in a new club era. They say House DJs are a many, but good ones are like finding a needle in a haystack. Another rarity in this scene is female DJs.

Leading the renaissance is a fresh female DJ presence.

DJ Sara Tone, Tones is just that. Proving herself during times, unforgiving in the industry of Chick DJs, she has immerged through the other side as one of those few and far between DJs. A mover, a shaker, a driving force of energy for the dance floor, she is that breath of fresh air that the scene needed.

Determined since her first shot at a mix to become the best at what she does, known for her funky rocking tunes and ideal mixing. Tones is renowned for her constant arse-shaking grooves and tough, vocal, driving House Electro music that always get the crowds especially the girls moving!

Beginning back in 2001 after being scouted at a birthday party, Tones played her first gig at one of Melbournes renowned clubs Viper Room. From there she was offered a spot at Evolution night club, an all girl DJ line-up event, Lifes A Bitch. It was from this performance she was offered a residency, which she continued for 3 and a half years till June 2005 at Evolution.

To date Tones has 6 current residencies Q Bar Wednesday nights, Motel & Concrete Thursday nights, One Bar, Moonee Ponds & The Loft Saturday nights. And Cushion Sunday nights.
